Class Descriptions

HOT POWER FLOW (Beginner/Int)

Explore the fundamentals of a flowing yoga practice as well as traditional poses and breathing techniques. You’ll challenge yourself as you work at your own level in a safe and supportive environment. Modifications will be offered as you practice each pose. Beginner friendly and encouraged!

HOT POWER FLOW (Int/Adv)

This intermediate vinyasa-style class guides students through more advanced postures and creative sequencing. Power links breath to movement and may include arm-balances, inversions and twists to stretch and strengthen the body.

YOGA FUSION

This breath-to-movement class combines traditional vinyasa yoga with varied strength and core work to build stamina. Fusion is a total body workout designed to sculpt and define every major muscle group. This class is good energy with good music.

YIN & REIKI

This class combines the healing Yin practice with the healing of Reiki energy. We will use healing sound, incense, candles and essential oils (if you are allergic to any of these, please notify instructor).

Yin is a passive yoga practice where each pose will be held for a longer period of time to create space in the fascia – the deep tissue of the body allowing it to release old stagnant energy and replace it with new, young energy.

Yin practice will be followed by Reiki when you lay down and relax, allowing the mind to travel where it needs to as you allow yourself to completely soften or even fall asleep. This opens the channels to the divine power of the universe to enter the physical, energetic and mental body, allowing reiki energy to come to you with the infinite power of healing – providing you with strength, health, and guidance in your every day life.

Please note: the healer does not use their own energy, but they connect and channel the energy of the universe while sending it to you through powerful symbols and light touch.

RESTORATIVE BREATHWORK & SOUNDBATH (heated)

Unwind at the end of a long day. This slow-moving class targets connective tissue through seated and lying postures held for long periods of time with the use of blocks and straps. Yin compliments the more active classes by increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.

This practice is perfect for all levels and those recovering from injury.
